backyard clafoutis.

DSC_6016sm
my plum tree is all done fruiting for the season but I may just need to buy some to make a few more clafoutis (so what is the plural of that anyways… clafoutiss? clafoutises?!)! I use orangette’s recipe as my base but pack it with more fruit than she calls for (watch this if your fruit is extra juicy) and instead of using just whole milk, I use 1/2 milk and 1/2 half and half (and half and half and – oh nevermind JUST MAKE IT). yum.

hope that you are having a happy summer, my lovelies! xox

I love them both but…

sometimes I am really torn between what I THINK they will choose:

versus what I HOPE they will choose:

Especially because the piece will be six feet tall and hung in a very contemporary space. Which one would YOU choose?

The noisy plume was feeling a bit restless so she decided that it was high time for her to once again have a long board to call her own. Just a few clicks … a few days … back at it. And all (gorgeous genuine perfect) smiles.
