Behold… my new love. In lamp form. I looked and looked for the perfect lamp to hang in the last little dark corner of my dining room. Although I did find some that I really liked they were prohibitively, and often, disproportionately expensive. I was ready to give up and make one of my own from vintage reproduction lamp parts (scary!) when I stumbled upon the Crown Vintage shop on Etsy and found this beauty…
Made from a black cigar box with two independently controlled bulbs, one vintage style with a dimmer, the other a small red bulb covered by 3oz glass jar with a pull chain – and check out that black fabric covered vintage reproduction cord! LOVE, I tell you. I needed it fast and when I contacted David of Crown Vintage he was an absolute peach and got it to me in three days flat. It is so nice in person, weighty and very professionally put together. I mean it – best lamp ever.
